Companions On The Way

A Community Experience of the Ignatian Way

For Ignatius, the spiritual life is a true pilgrimage and requires not a map but a "way of proceeding" to get to the destination. D Fleming SJ

‘Companions On the Way’ is a fortnightly on-line series which offers a unique communal opportunity for prayer and reflection on our everyday experience and introduces you to the ‘Ignatian Way.’

Using Scripture, Song, Story and Poetry, along with a selection of contemporary Ignatian Voices, you are invited to join others and be accompanied on your journey of life.  With Ignatius, we consider how we experience 'finding God in all things.'

Each session will:

  • Provide the opportunity and space to stop and reflect on your every day life with others.

  • Introduce you to Ignatian Spirituality and the tools it offers for everyday living.

  • Offer a variety of prayer experiences and reflection using Ignatian wisdom.

  • Give you time to both share your experience and listen to the experience of others travelling a similar path.

  • Provide you with prayer and reflection material, group facilitation and  accompaniment

An important aspect of this Program is the community experience that develops through the sharing of faith and life together.

Who is it for?

'Companions on the Way' would suit anyone who is seeking to grow in their understanding of what it means to live the Ignatian Way.
